I looked at the winners list from the Web 2.0 awards to see if one of my favorite sites was on it. I ended up finding it under Video. The site I love is You Tube. You Tube is a great place to upload videos about your self, make movies or just basically run your own TV channel for the world to see. It is also great if you missed shows on tv because you can look them up and watch them on your computer if you missed an episode. This site is useful because it is tough nowadays to have time to watch all these shows because we live busy lives. The great thing about You Tube is you can watch your program at anytime. Sadly I believe that most of the shows will be taken off because the networks are starting to show their own shows on their websites. They know they are competing with our attention and they are far behind. You Tube could be good for libraries to brush up on what is hot in entertainment because their is a counter that let's you know how many hits the video received. This is very helpful in ordering materials for your branch.
